Responsibilities:
-Preparing accessibility and usability test plans and strategies, as per industry standards, i.e. WCAG 2.0, at the release level.
-Leading and mentoring Accessibility and Usability Testing Team.
-Participating in stakeholder meetings related to Accessibility and Usability tasks, decision making, issues, strategies, and plans.
-Preparing Accessibility and Usability Test status and closure reports at the release level.
-Executing test cases in regards to system and integration testing, browser compatibility, and language testing.
-Providing training in regards to accessibility and usability testing techniques and tools.
-Conducting and participating in defect triage meetings.
-Coordinating with Client Test Manager, Development Team, and other stakeholders during SIT, Accessibility, UAT, and Pilot Testing.
-Providing UAT support to the Client Functional Team.
-Managing Accessibility and Usability automation tools.
-Supporting System / SIT test efforts.

Requirements:
-Minimum of 4 years of experience in Usability and Accessibility Testing.
-Bachelor’s Degree or foreign equivalent, required from an accredited institution.
-Post-graduate degree and/or professional certifications are preferred, although not required.
-Comprehensive knowledge of WCAG 2.0 and other Accessibility Standards.
-Experience using Accessibility testing tools, such as WAVE, JAWS, Lighthouse, VoiceOver, NVDA, Compliance Sheriff, etc.
-Experience with Functional, System, Integration, and/or Regression Testing.
-Able to analyze accessibility and usability errors.
-Security Clearance (Enhanced Reliability Status) from the Government of Canada or the candidate should be a resident of Canada for 5 continuous years. Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents preferred.
-Bilingual English and French.
